Protecting your privacy is a top priority for Horizon Video Technologies Inc. (“Horizon”). We offer our services via two types of mobile applications: via an application for Android mobile devices (“Android App”) and an application for iOS mobile devices (“iOS App”). By using our mobile applications (“Apps”), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
When you use our Apps, we, or via third parties, automatically collect the time of request, country of origin, the various time details per visit, the details about the path followed within the Apps with special reference to the sequence of screens visited, and other parameters about your mobile device’s operating system (“Usage Data”). We also collect your Geographic position (i.e. via your IP address) and Geolocation (via your phone’s GPS).
Apart from the Usage Data, Geographic position and Geolocation, Horizon does not store/collect/send/manage any Personal Data of any kind. All materials created with our Apps are solely yours and yours only.
Failure to provide certain Personal Data may make it impossible for our Apps to provide their services. You assume responsibility for the Personal Data of third parties published or shared through our Apps and declare to have the right to communicate or broadcast them, thus relieving Horizon of all responsibility.
Facebook Analytics for Apps
We use Facebook Analytics for Apps to collect Usage Data in our iOS App. Facebook Analytics for Apps is an analytics service provided by Facebook, Inc. This service is designed for mobile apps analytics and can collect various information about your phone, such as what are the users choices and preferences when they use our iOS App, the duration of your videos, the type of your mobile device etc, as highlighted in the Facebook Analytics for Apps Overview. Users have the option to opt-out via our iOS App by visiting the settings of the iOS App and disabling the ‘Send Usage Stats’ option.
Flurry
We use Flurry to collect Usage Data and your Geolocation in our iOS App. Flurry Analytics is an analytics service provided by Flurry, Inc. This service is designed for mobile apps analytics and can collect various information about your phone, such as what are the users choices and preferences when they use our iOS App, the duration of your videos, the type of your mobile device etc, as highlighted in the Flurry Analytics Privacy Policy. Via Flurry, our iOS App may collect, use, and share your location data in order to provide location-based services. Opt-Out. Users have also the option to opt-out via our iOS App by visiting the settings of the iOS App and disabling the ‘Send Usage Stats’ option.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect Usage Data and Geographic Position in our Android App. Google Analytics is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. This service enables us to monitor and analyze our Android App’s traffic and can be used to keep track of the users behavior. Information that Google Analytics collects is highlighted in the Google Analytics Privacy Policy. Users have the option to opt-out by visiting the settings of the Android App and disabling the 'Send anonymous usage data' option.
HockeyApp
We use HockeyApp in our iOS App. HockeyApp is a monitoring service provided by Bit Stadium GmbH. This service enables our iOS App to monitor the use and behavior of its components in order to improve its performance, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. HockeyApp collects certain information such as the type of your mobile device and its operating system etc. as highlighted in the HockeyApp Privacy Policy. Users have the option to opt-out by visiting the settings of the iOS App and disabling the 'Send Usage Stats' option.
Geotagging
We geotag your videos and photos in our iOS App so that you can share them via social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. We do not your IP address. We only use your GPS data to assess where the video or photo was captured. Users have the option to opt-out from location tagging by visiting the settings of the iOS App and disabling the 'Location tagging' option.
All the above collection of Personal Data does not allow Horizon or any third parties to personally identify an individual (such as certain names, e-mail addresses or any other similar data). Further, it does not allow Horizon to permanently identify a particular device (such as a unique device identifier if such an identifier cannot be reset), even in hashed form.

We keep your Personal Data for the time necessary to provide you the service requested, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and you may always request that Horizon suspends or removes the data by contacting us at [email protected].
We use your Personal Data only for analytics and location-based interactions as described in par. 3 above.
Horizon will optionally upload photos and videos from the device to social media sites, only when manually requested by the user. We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Apps, including the information or content contained within them. In addition, you agree that we are not responsible and do not have control over any third-parties that you authorize to access your videos and photos (“User Content”). If you are using a third-party website or service and you allow them to access your User Content you do so at your own risk.
You have the right, at any time, to know whether your Personal Data has been stored and can consult us to learn about their contents and origin, to verify their accuracy or to ask for them to be supplemented, cancelled, updated or corrected, or for their transformation into anonymous format or to block any data held in violation of the law, as well as to oppose their treatment for any and all legitimate reasons. If our Privacy Policy procedures change, we will post those changes immediately to our Website. Any such changes will be effective thirty (30) days from the time they are posted, unless otherwise stated in the change provision.
